I have a modded promise ultra66 to a fasttrak66.
It works perfectly i used it for about 6 months and got a new computer and didnt use it.
Now, i installed win2k (with service pack 1) and of course used the latest BIOS and drivers,
But the oddest thing happens...
When i am using the drives intensively my computer will just stop cold for 20 seconds, its just like its frozen.
then it will resume.
happily enough win2k event logger knows whats going on. Kinda.
here is what it says
"The description for Event ID ( 9 ) in Source ( Fasttrak ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: \Device\Scsi\Fasttrak1."
What the HECK does that mean?!
