I have said it before and I will say it again. Round up fat people and put them in re education camps where they will learn how to eat and work out just like Biggest Looser only on a massive scale. If someone doesnt loose weigh don't let them out. Euthanasia would probably be a cheaper and quicker option also and should be considered.

The feds subsidize shitty food, fed and state governments spend most of their transportation dollars on highways that funnel fat people to their jobs and leisure activities, local governments have been following the pathetic suburban model for decades.
All this leads to shitty food costing less than whole foods and most people never getting even minimal exercise.

The problem is that it is much harder for people to take responsibility for themselves because government policy enables fat lifestyles. If the government should enable healthy lifestyles (or was just neutral), then you'd see a lot less obesity.
