I never buy new clothes. I just keep my eyes open and pick up used stuff as it appears. I get clothes for presents occasionally, but I like the clothes I get best :^)

Damn, I am 36x32. I don't think I have been in a 32 waist since 6th grade.

I am 5'11" 185.

Your waist size is not directly related to how fat you are. I'm 6'1" and 180lbs (1" taller and 25 lbs. lighter than the OP), and I wear 33x34 or 34x34 when 33x34 is hard to find or sometimes too tight. Even when I was down to 170, 32-inch-waist pants were mighty tight on me. I think I just have big hips/butt. Now when I went through my brief fat phase and go close to 200 lbs., nothing smaller than 36x34 would fit.

Obviously there's some correllation between waist size and fatness, but the size of one's bones will not increase nor decrease based on how fat he is. i.e. Even if I lost 50 pounds, I might still not be able to wear a 30-inch waist.

No kidding! I'm 6', 205ish and wear a 36. I haven't worn a 32 since I was 160lbs. I'm definitely a bit overweight, but even if I got back to 190 which I consider a pretty good weight ratio based on my build I'd still wear a 34.

This thread is making me feel good about myself. I am 6'2" and currently 205 pounds and my 34/34 fit nicely. A year or two back when I was in my peak physical condition and weighed 185, 32" pants were very comfortable and even a little bit loose. I really want to get back into my 32" pants, but that will be rough. My body tends to sit naturally at 210 when I'm lazy, eat what I want and don't exercise. I hit about 195 with moderate exercise and moderate healthy eating (this is my most natural place). Then I can get to 185 if I change my entire lifestyle and focus on healthy eating and exercising every free moment I get.

lol try being short and skinny. when i was wearing 28x27's they were impossible to find. now i just buy bigger jeans. but hell i can't find any 27 lengh shortest i find are 32's wich means i walk on the bottom of them.

Just go to the Kids section, you should find plenty of clothes to fit you

I know people who say this a lot. You guys consider a few slices of pizza to be "pigging out". I'm 6'1" 280lbs. when I eat anything I want I eat 2 huge pizzas.

I'm out of town visiting family and was asked by a relative to work on their car. No problem, except I didn't bring any work clothes. So, I head over to the local Walmart to buy a cheap $10 pair of jeans and a few t-shirts, work gloves, etc.

I wear a size 32 pant... Walmart was sold out of size 32 jeans in the style I wanted (cheapos). I asked the lady working in the clothing department and she said they only stock a few pairs of 32s now because that size classified as an "extra small" size now and not that many people wear that size anymore.

I ended up buying the last pair of size 32 Dickies tan work pants in the store. They weren't on display; it took three people 15 minutes digging around the warehouse to find them.

Now, if you want say a size 46 pant or a size 50 pant they got those, lots of em.

So, apparently at 6.0' tall and 205 lbs I'm now a minority. I'm not fat enough.

I can't seem to find a picture of a 36 or 38 waist. Most of them are on weight loss sites with extremely low quality (so you can't tell the before and after are actually 2 different people).
