Favorite Actor of all time?

I think mine would be Edward Norton. Recently i went on a slew of Edward Norton films and I'm convinced he's incapable of poor acting. His work in primal fear has got to be one of the best acting debuts ever

Tom Hanks and Leo DiCaprio are pretty awesome. Matt Damon (sp?), Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman also. I'm not a huge movie buff so it should come as no surprise that most of my picks are very modern.

How about Jimmy Stewart? Humphrey Bogart was also pretty good. Then there's Marlon Brando...definitely put in some great performances. Henry Fonda was also up there.

So many to list...I have a difficult time picking just one.

Humphrey Bogart & Cary Grant are tied for favorite actors in my book. Honorable mention to Burt Lancaster.

Unfortunately when it comes to female actors (actresses) my bias leads me to favor actresses solely because of looks, and therefore I would not be able to objectively rate them.
