I like gainward for gf4.

I like leadtek also, but that was for gf2..... I think gainward is better for gf4.

I only own the GF3 (regular flavor, not ti crud) and it is clocking stably at 240/550 (ti500 speeds). their support rocks, when there was an issue with my board second day ups blue.

VisionTek is usually pretty good in OC results and price is reasonable.

After reading through that I would be leaning towards the Abit, it seemed to provide the best performance/feature ratio at the 4400 level, which is what I would be looking at, the 4600 don't seem to be worth the extra money. Not to mention the Abit cards are the most silent according to the round-up... yours ears will thank you later

I also just noticed on newegg, the Abit Siluro Geforce 4 128mb Ti4400 in retail box is only $225, that may be one of the cheapest ti4400s I've ever seen, I think I'm going to have to order one now heh.

It really depends on the video chipset you're talking about. As far as the GeForce3 video chipsets go, I would probably lean towards VisionTek (maybe that's because I have a VT GeF3 ). But don't take Leadtek or Gainward out of the picture either. I'm assuming you're looking for an all-in-one type video card (I'm not talking ATi AIW here), one with good features, overclocking, and 2D.

I wouldn't know about the GeForce4 though, I haven't tried it out yet.

I've owned both a GF3 and currently a GF4, both Gainward.

I like VisionTek. High quality, good overclockability. No gimmicky stuff like Red/Purple PCB or HS/Fan that just increases showiness and noise. They have a lifetime warrantee and are MADE IN USA!

Haven't tried a GF4, but the Gainward GF2 and GF3 I've tried are both awesome. Great overclockability, excellent 2D, and pleasing to the eye

Quick question, since everyone's on the subject. I'm purchasing a Visiontek geforce3 Ti200 OEM. Will this OEM version come with the same heatsink/fan that the retail version comes with?
