German Shepherd.

I'm normally a cat person but I really like them. If I ever get a house I'll get Bengal cat and a Shepherd for it to play with.

doesnt seem to be as big as they are supposed to be, however my GF's is the runt.

but yea, for a dog that doesnt shed they are GREAT dogs.

He was given to me, and, really, the best dog you can get is the mutt whose heart wrenches you the most at your local SPCA. Mutts tend to be the healthiest, get all the good dominant genes from all their forebears, and a shelter dog will be grateful unto death that you rescued them.

The best dog I've had yet is a long-haired German Shepherd. Very different personality from the short-haired ones I've been around.

Also have a black lab/long-haired German Shepherd mix that is a very good dog. (Just not quite as good as her mama!)
