Yet Another Smooth Scrolling
-- I find this extension to be absolutely essential. I've always found the default scrolling to be a bit clunky and slow. This makes it a lot better.

Noscript is great. Not just from a security standpoint but it will also block any javascript related popups that get past ABP.

Rehost Image
-- I hate it when people hotlink so I don't do it myself. I can right click on pictures and upload them to my own host via FTP. It also copies the URL of the uploaded image to the clipboard for easy pasting

This extension also makes me realize how badly coded most sites are now a days. 90% of sites wont even display any content if you don't enable JS. Sad really.

Since when does requiring JS equate to a site being "badly coded"? With the exception of a small number of mobile phone browsers, all modern browsers are JavaScript-enabled, and JavaScript can greatly enhance a site's usability.

If you run an up-to-date browser on a properly secured operating system, there's very little that JavaScript can do to "compromise" your browser or PC.

there you go, i fixed it for you.

Foxmarks

Greasemonkey

Greasefire

I would use ScribeFire if I could figure how to get it to work with MySpace.

Greasemonkey kicks so much ass! I use it with Netflix and Craigslist.

Cooliris is nice but watch your firefox ram use go up from 200 to 400 MB. Then slowly go to 500 to 600 MB +

Once you close Cooliris your firefox ram use goes down to 400 MB if your lucky. Most of the time stays at around 500 MB.

nice. Too bad firefox is not.

Huhh what? You feeling OK?

Works for Microsoft, probably...

Actually I use Opera. Firefox is a big fat hog unless they've made strides in the memory management department. It also takes an a$$-load of time to startup. My backup is IE, over FF.

I loaded a few pages with pics, then closed them after viewing them. Here's how FF reacts to that... http://pics.bbzzdd.com/users/rh71/ffmemory.gif It never gave it back unless you close it completely and restarted.

I didn't want to hijack but since you guys obviously wanted me to...

Yeah WOT is pretty nice but not sure if I want to keep it. Seems annoying at times. I like it though.

I try to keep my add-ons small. So instead of Tab Mix Plus, I just use "removetabs", plus some tweaks in about:config to get my tabs smaller while keeping the close button.

Instead of Swifttabs, I just use "Back to close". This makes Alt-left arrow either go back or close the tab. I used to use something called "Back IS close"; but I haven't seen it on the add-on site since 3.0.
