I've never been there =) Captain D's was a favorite of mine when I was younger, but they all shutdown in the Dallas area and were replaced by Long John Silver's. Not nearly as good =(

Dallas just got it's first Panera Bread not too long ago. I consider those places too 'classy' to be fast food. I'm talking about people running around in crappy uniforms, wearing microphone headgear, and tending to 3 frying machines while still operating the drive thru and cash register. I mean, then you would have to add La Madeline, Corner Bakery ... those aren't 'fast-food' IMO.

"New" fast food = expensive fast food. Pei Wei, La Madeline, etc are all very good ... yes. But I was trying to get a more traditional selection (read: cheap). Hope no one's favorite meal is a $12 lunch from The Corner Bakery. =)

OMGWTFBBQ - I knew I was forgetting a big one. Jack in the Box's 99 cent 2 tacos and 1.97 large seasoned curly fries.

As for Burger Street, it is good but very local indeed. Burger House (Mockingbird @ Central) is really good burger place too. As are Keller's and Jake's.

Chipotle is over-rated. "Here, let's put some cheap rice, chewy meat, and some other crap on a big tortilla. HEY! Let's charge extra for Guacamole!"

Even though it sounds dumb, they fact that they charge for guacamole makes me never want to go back. I won't add them to the list.
