Do you even know how much an avocado costs? They're pretty expensive so even a scoop of guac costs them probably 10-20 cents, then with prep costs and markup, it certainly makes sense. Sure I'd love stuff like that free too, but be reasonable

And the winner is Wendy's!!! I go to Wendy's every Thursday at lunch time, drive-thru and get a #6 (Spicy Chicken Combo). In and out in under 2 minutes. Food is great and the service is excellent.

Ha. Freebirds really exposes Chipotle for the cr*p that it is. Now THAT is how a burrito should be made. I could drink that bbq sauce by the gallon.

Yea, in Austin, there is a Chipotle bordering the campus, and a Freebirds right down the street.

for my area, i think its unacceptable. bonsall is 3 miles away from the chipotle here, and bonsall is well-known for their vast avocado fields and pretty much being a big producer and supplier in the avocado business. at costco, henry's, albertsons, etc. avocados are always on sale for 3/$0.99 or sometimes even cheaper. so i think the chipotle near me should purchase from local suppliers and cut their costs.

its funny too, because the one down the street is struggling for business. why pay $9 for a meal when there are 3 24 hour mexican fast food joints all within a 2 miles radius. that store is always running special promotions.

edit: btw, look at in-n-out go!

I really like having Taco Bueno when I go down to texas/oklahoma if I have to get fast food.....

Although I'm currently thinking about not eating fast food anymore......
