Favorite Ghost in the Shell song?

i just came upon a song called Monochrome.

Many posts ago someone mentioned it was their favorite Gits song.

i cant find that thread, but there was many differing views about which song was better, and why.

Monochrome is nice, but I like Inner Universe (aka Aeria gloris).

So what's your favorite Gits song?

I'll have to agree with Inner Universe / Aeria gloris. It and the Delgados' "Light Before We Land" (used for Gunslinger Girl) are my 2 favorites from shows I've watched in the last couple of years.

The intros are great, lately I've been listening to "I do". Ilaria Graziano has a nice voice

I enjoyed both the first and second intros. (but prefer the latter)

Yeah both are pretty good, I probably like the first more, though. Haven't seen the original GitS movies or Solid State Society yet, so I can't comment on their opening music.

On the topic of anime music, the Serial Experiments: LAIN opening is really catchy as well.

Boa - "Duvet" from Race of a Thousand Camels, another CD I bought because of an anime series . The rest of that album is decent too thought not (IMHO) at the same level.

I do really like Monochrome...Replica from Solid State Society is quite good too. A piece from spotter has been enlisted as a cell phone ring tone in the past too.

Really? It was from the Solid State Society OST... track 13... The song was the one I was trying to find that was from GITS: SAC 2nd gig, the one about the love story with Motoko and the other guy at the young age. If you meant artist (not sure), well it is supposed to be Ilaria... IIRC.

GiTS SAC Soundtrack 3...it's from season 2 iirc but they had so many songs that they split it up onto another album....

I think Silent Cruise and Inner Universe are my favs.

I'm also a huge fan of the finale suite in the Jin-Roh OST. The Kenshin OVA OST is quality as well.

Record of Lodoss War - There are 3 OST and any good anime shop will have soundtracks or an anime convention.
