So many bands had serious hair back in the late 70s early 80s, I could never really figure out the designation. Is a hair band not allowed to have any talent?

Do bands like White Snake or Malsteen fall into this category?

they most definitely do.....i kinda miss that music tho...now everything is boy bands which i dont give a rip for

Although I don't, some people classify GnR as a "hair band"... In which case I'd choose them.
