Favorite Horror Film?

Ok Halloween is here. Time to scare the hell out of ourselves. What's your favorite horror film?

BTW, IFC is showing some horror classics this month. Including, Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, The Hills Have Eyes, Texas Chainsaw and The Last House on the Left. Check out the schedule..

I have the say the first two "Dead" movies were my favorites. To this day I still have nightmares about the walking dead.

Forbidden Planet and Aliens are my favourite. The Exorcist is the scariest. Hellraiser made me almost pee in my pants from laughter. Squirm is the best for watching with you girlfriend on video (zillions of worms promote instant cuddling and need for reassurance, which will lead to sex). Army of Darkness is the coolest. Elvira Mistress of The Dark is the most esthetically pleasing (Cassandra Peterson, like most redheads, rules).
Kids and PIN are the most disturbing. Andy Warhol's Dracula is the goriest. Any classic Gojirah movie is a must-see.

I will agree wih Dennil on "Kids" that movies was disturbing to say the least! My favorite horror movie is "Event Horizon" and I do consider that horror.

Aliens gives me nightmares still. That is a badass movie. One of the best of all time.

Army of Darkness is my favorite "horror" picture, but that is only because I can't stand horror movies like "scream" and such. Oh, any of you remember "night of the comet"? I liked that one too

Army of Darkness!!!! Most would not consider this a horror movie but that was there goal for the first one.

Stephen King's Maximum Overdrive. Trucks was a 90's remake of the original.

Sleepy Hollow is a pretty good Halloween flick in my mind. Not TOO scary, but not necessarily lame either.

The burning, banned here in the UK (but re-released &amp; cut to hell the BBFC got carried away)
The shining, brilliant king movie
The Exorcist, classic movie
The Entity, scared the sh*t out of me first time i saw it
and when i was a kid (10 or so yrs old) the old Lon Chaney werewolf films used to have me hiding under my covers, my old man used to let me watch them knowing i would have nightmares.
