Which is the one with Sean Connery sleeping with that girl on the boat then goes diving underwater and gets chased by sharks with electronic beacons and gets "caught" by that chick on the boat in overalls then goes back to the hotel and you think he may be blown up but it's really his hotel room that blows up and he is at the girl on the boat's hotel room and I think Mr Bean may have also been in this one?

Someone stole my punctuation!

Its hard to decide but I would say: You Only Live Twice
It had ninjas in it and it had a "Japanese" Sean Connery which was pretty funny.

Now we need a poll for the best villian in a Bond film. My vote goes to Christopher Walken in View To A Kill. Not the best Bond film by a longshot but his over the top performance as the bad guy was hilarious. Escpecially the scene where he is mowing down all the workers with a machine gun and doing it with maniacal glee.

My old favorite was Goldfinger, but I think my new fav will be Casino Royale when it comes out based on this douche bag. Aparently he will also be driving a Ford Mondeo and won't wear Bond's signature tuxedo. The second I saw his face I thought he's going to be the next Timothy Dalton, this guy does NOT look like a Bond.

This guy was also in the first Tomb Raider movie. That speaks VOLUMES about his credibility (or lack thereof) as a Bond class actor.

Loved OHMSS. It was also the movie were Bond gets married. Most people don't even know Bond was married at all.

Yeah - the storyline of OHMSS was great, really helped in explaining how Bond's character developed.

Unofficial? WTF? It's a James Bond film. It was Sean Connery's Last!

Timothy Dalton= Worst James Bond.

NSNA is NOT official.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Never_Say_Never_Again

Kevin McClory helped co-write the original Thunderball book, which was the first book to feature SPECTRE (the movies were out of order with the books). As such, he tried to claim rights to make 007 movies of his own. To keep a long story short, the courts decided that he could make remakes of thunderball and that was it. The only remake he ever made was NSNA. And when he made it, Moore was hugely successful as Bond and Connery was a down and out actor in desperate need of work.

Yeah, but the direction and cinematography were a crime against humanity. It's almost painful to watch, the direction is so poor (specifically, random cuts and close ups in fight scenes).

Hey, it was just ahead of its time. Nowadays, those fast cuts and close ups in fight scenes are "normal" i.e. The Bourne Identity/Supremacy, and Batman Begins

'Dr. No' is probably one of my favorites. I thought Jack Lord was the best Felix Leiter ever!

'Thunderball' would be a close second though and 'On her Majesty's secret service'.

Oh, and Sean Connery was the best Bond ever.

Goldeneye! It's the movie that got me into the Bond fiasco in the first place when I played the game on the N64.

Bond's hotel room never blew up.

Sure it did. That bad chick put a bomb under his bed. And the camera kept switching between the bomb, James making sweet, sweet love to that other chick, and the bad chick with the detonator. Then she pushed the button and there was an explosion and everyone paniced and she sat back and smiled. Then it cut to James and the lady looking out the window and seeing smoke rise from the hotel room across the way and she said "What was that?" And James said something like "Proof we made the right decision." And she said "About what?" And he said, "My place or yours," then continued to wreck that chick.

What movie were you watching?

OHMSS also had George Lazenby crack a girl on the ass for talking back to him. THAT is how a 1960's secret agents rolled, so it gets a vote for realism that none of the last 10 can approach.
