Bond's hotel room never blew up.
Sure it did. That bad chick put a bomb under his bed. And the camera kept switching between the bomb, James making sweet, sweet love to that other chick, and the bad chick with the detonator. Then she pushed the button and there was an explosion and everyone paniced and she sat back and smiled. Then it cut to James and the lady looking out the window and seeing smoke rise from the hotel room across the way and she said "What was that?" And James said something like "Proof we made the right decision." And she said "About what?" And he said, "My place or yours," then continued to wreck that chick.

My favorite is the original 1967 Casino Royale with David Niven as James Bond. Haven't seen most of the others, didn't know there were so many.

Find me the scene. The only 007 movie it could have been was Never Say Never Again which I haven't watched in years. Unless it's in that film, you've confused it with a non bond movie.

Sorry, it is NSNA, as I had to look up the girl - Fatima Blush - to make sure it was the right one. Kim Basinger was also in this one, as a prisoner/fiance of Largo (the remade one, not the original.)
If you remember, Bond meets Fatima as he is having a drink by the ocean, she skis up onto land, splashing him, and he catches her and makes the comment "I may be all wet, but my martini is still dry." Later they go scuba diving, and she levaes him with a beacon on his back that attracts sharks. He escapes, then sees a fishing hook in the water, grabs it, and is landed by the girl in overalls that he met earlier. Then they go back, his room explodes, etc.
