Favorite lightscribe application?

What do you use?

I've tried Nero and the free utilities on the official lightscribe web site. I'm not crazy about either one of them.

I use Surething, not the LE version that came with my drive, I've had the full 4.3 since way before I got my LS drive. I like it, have heard Nero gives better results as far as the quality of the outputted disc. the Surething LE is on the LS web site so I'm going to assume you might have tried it. If not, I suggest you do *it's free*

besides those I don't know of any other Lightscribe proggies.

I have only burnt one disc but I used Surething as well. I read somewhere online that there is a way to make the graphics darker but somehow lost the bookmark.
All in all Surehting is definately good but Lightscribve technology itself seems like it needs an update.

It did help with my burns.

I use Surething as well. Not a huge fan of some of the editing sometimes, but it works fine for me.

I've tried the Extended Label Contrast Utility, but found it to take 2x as long for quality that was maybe 1.5x darker.

So I think I'm still going to have extended contrast OFF, but lightscribe the disc twice. Doing it twice for the same amount of time as the contrast utility looks better IMO. And they do look quite good, especially after two burns.

you sure the Extended Label Contrast util takes you 2x as long? it took me umm 28 minutes to do a disc, I know the 1.2 media labels faster, but I thought it only shaved a few minutes off. I've always thought about labeling twice and seeing how it looks, maybe with the Extended Contrast enabled it will look really nice
