Favorite Mainboard company?

my favorite is probably epox, but for budget boards ive had very good luck with pcchips and amptron

Intel. I'm not an Intel zealot, I don't really care, but I like when everything works right. And I don't bother overclocking. Out of 3 Intel moboards I had none had a single little glitch. Of course, they're expensive compared to others, cost almost as much as ASUS and don't overclock, but it's worth it to be completely headache-free. Just for the piece of mind.

Asus all the way. I have a A7V266A-E and have never had any problems with it. They are great stable boards. I don't mind paying the extra money since I know it just goes twoards great quality.

After owning EpoX, ASUS, Abit, MSI, FIC, Amptron, Biostar, and Soltek I would have to say that my personal favorite is Soltek.

I have consistently used and had excellent luck with Asus boards . . .

However, I am currently running my first Abit board, an IT7

I have had very good experiences with BCM motherboards, but most people don't seem to know about them. Could be because they are so darn hard to find. My next motherboard will be this. BCM is the only company I have seen to make a P4 system with 2 ISA slots & DDR support! I need to have ISA, and so do some other people out there.

I've sold a ton of BCM boards when SlotA was the rage.. Good boards, stable, low failure rate. I think they still make boards, but they are mainly OEM manufacturers...

BCM mb is for IPC. It's not for normal user.

My first PC was on an Asus mobo, worked pretty well for most of the time (I knew less back then )

I've had a couple Asus boards since then and they have all worked flawlessly. My next favorite is MSI, I've been lucky I guess... very competative prices and totally stable (for me)

Right now I'm on an Abit board, and it hasn't done me wrong... yet

All my motherboards have an Intel chipset though, I don't know if that's a factor to consider (my bro has an older Via chipset and he has nothing but problems... until I come along)
