I wish I knew more about games, as that one looks like it should be much funnier than it is. (I don't know what Warhammer is, and I've never played World of Warcraft.)

In summary, Warhammer is a fantasy war tabletop game that has been around... oh, about forever. 1983 to be exact (warhammer 40k, the scifi fantasy counterpart to warhammer, came out in 1987).

Warcraft has been around since 1994. What is their difference in age? 1994 - Forever Ago = Forever

Tycho is a big fan of tabletop games, so he knows this shit, and at the time there were a significant portion of people complaining that Warhammer Online was a ripoff of WoW. That's pretty much all you need to know to get the joke.
