Download the Ogg Vorbis plug-in (go to the Plug-Ins page of www.winamp.com if you use Winamp).
These three compositions (all by Antonio Vivaldi) are simply amazing.
The tag of each Ogg file will tell you the full name of each composition.

beethoven violin concerto played by Heifetz?? Wow, pretty special, I always want give Heifetz a try, but always afraid to buy old recording. So how does Heifetz version fare againt....let's say....Sheinederhan, Menuhin, Perlman, Zukerman?

you have pretty good list on Brahm, let me suggest you his cello sonata and 4 ballades (played by Glenn Could).
Bach is my favorite composer....so goldberg, english & french suites, and cello suites are essential for me.
your list of beethoven music is way too popular......fur elise..5th symphony...violin concerto....man, you should try some of his less known works.
Neverthless, I like your list a lot

How could you forget Vivaldi's 4 season? It's some of the greatest stuff composed.
There's also Beethoven In F Major and Beethoven Snate F-dur which are really good.
Smetana's "The Moldau" is good also. And Mozart's songs are really good too.

have to agree with you. Especially on Smetana, not so many people know him, but his music is great.

I'm not telling you what's right or not right to do, I just mean that you could definitely make your posts better than just "Bleh." For instance, you could actually give a reason why Baroque or Romatic music is "bleh". But hey, whatever floats your boat.

We did several parts of "Gloria" when I was in college. It's kind of fun to sing, actually. We did Gloria In Excelsis Deo, Domine Fili Unigenite, Quoniam tu Solus Sanctus, Laudamus Te (two sopranos sang this), & Cum Sancto Spiritu.

in Kazakhstan, we did not have the classical music. but when i come to US, i find many things to listen to.
i listen to one now, is my favorite. we call it Danse Macabre, is very good, i like violins! ha ha ha!
