Great choice, rh71! That used to be my favorite song, too, until I heard Fade to Black by Metallica. Its such a powerful song, just like One. I think the lyrics have a greater impact on me than One, however. I first heard it when I picked up Metallica's Ride the Lightning CD.

offspring : 4 years ago, i picked a random song to download when my friend first got irc and found an mp3 channel. i'd never heard of irc before, so i asked him to show me how it worked. didnt think of the song till two years later when i heard it again and really liked it.

then again Carolyn's Fingers is also a good song by them so I'd say tie between those two songs.
