TODAY'S TMJ4's Lance Allan reports that Brett and Deanna Favre are heading to St. Paul, Minnesota on a jet believed to be registered by the owner of the Minnesota Vikings. The plane took off from Hattiesburg, Mississippi around 9:00 a.m. Allan is told that there is no contract agreed to by the Vikings and Favre, but WCCO-TV in the Twin Cities reports he is expected to sign with Minnesota today.

It is both sad and amusing to watch Brett Favre completely trash the Hall of Fame career he built with the Packers. It's like Michael Jordan with the Wizards, except with 100x the drama and stupidity.

Edit: Also big WTF at $10-$12 million. Give him the vet's minimum and see if he can actually throw a TD before throwing 5 INTs.

Why do people call this guy a douche bag for not being sure if he wants to play anymore or not? He has an awesome legacy and enough cred to be able to stretch this sort of thing out as long as he wants. Blame the media for blowing it out of proportion if you want because in reality they are the ones to blame. Favre is just doing what many people do as they edge towards retirement.
