Now the GOP is investigating the investigation into the email server that came from the seventh investigation into the Benghazi attack. LOL. As if he were planning a preemptive self burn Gowdy said this to the New York Times the other day, but this was when he was criticizing the Democrats for wanting to investigate the litany of Trump Administration lies about Russia.

That's right, he was quoted saying that Congressional investigations are done for the purpose of attacking political enemies, not for the purposes of looking into actual wrongdoing right before he decided to open an investigation into an investigation about a different investigation. My question to you is do you think he's deliberately parodying the GOP's irrational fixation with investigating Clinton or do you think he's just that unaware? Regardless, I imagine a quote that damning and the realization that all the congressmen you so credulously quoted were lying to you has to have even someone like you reconsidering your position here.

They have experience from holding 2 of the most powerful offices in the nation, and as such there is a demand to hear any advice they might have on achieving similar success in life. It's no different than Joel Osteen using televangelism to achieve his wealth, as long as there are people willing to pay to listen to them, they will oblige them. Whether that's morally bankrupt behavior or not is a completely different discussion altogether but to imply that using your past success to continue to find new avenues of financial success is somehow not the American Dream is a bit silly. Almost every powerful and wealthy person in our nations history has done exactly as they have.
