I have a recently installed FC4 installation on a machine. I also just switched it from run level 5 to run level 3 in the /etc/inittab file (since I'm only looking at a monitor once in 3-6 months on this machine, no need to have X start...so thought I'd save resources).
Problem is: after switching from 5 to 3, the iptables "DROPS" spam the login screen. The screen just fills up...and they scroll on by (about 1-4 a minute). This is annoying if actually at the terminal trying to do something. Even if I'm logged in, and working in console mode, the messages appear.
Anyway to disable this?
