I'm kind of afraid to Overclock my Radeon, seeing that i only have 4 days to return it incase there is a problem. If i overclock, and test it out for like 5 mionutes, will it melt by then? If not, i should buy a nice copper fan for it huh?

Don't do anything to it (physically). Just crank up the MHz in 5MHz increments and then test it for stability by playing your favorite 3D game for a while (30minutes or so). If it works fine, the move it up some more. If it locks up, then you need to lower MHz back down a little.

Just don't bump your MHz up too high at first and you should be fine!

If you are affraid, then don't do it!

It's a very safe card to overclock. It produces very little heat. Most will overclock easily to 15-30 MHZ over the factory setting.

Grab yourself Powerstrip and crank that puppy up!

You obviously have a retail boxed card, and I hear they can get some serious MHz increases!!

Be gentle with it at first and do what the other guy said, increments of 5MHz should be fine!

Remember the clock and memory are tied together, so the memory will probably give out b4 the clock does!

I have a ES and it OCs quite well, but I get some "fluff" around the screen at about 210MHz. A pretty big increase over the stock 166MHz of the samples.

Good luck,

Radioactive: Right click on the monitor icon, advanced options, performance. Crank the slider, apply.
