I think it has been better than last season for sure. But, that isn't saying a whole lot because the first season was pretty terrible. The last couple of episodes have been decent IMO. Not awesome, but not terrible either.

The guy making the head shots from the RHIB is not so amazing. The seas were not that rough and he's clearly practiced at that kind of thing...probably a former SEAL given that he lives near Coronado somewhere.

Solid episode, one of the best in the series. Which probably isn't saying much

I wonder if Strand is pretending to be gay to con Abigail.

I appreciated the scene at the bar where it explained that Strand had lost his money to Katrina, which explains his preparation with the boat, solar homes, etc. I thought maybe he had some insider information on the virus, but as it turns out, he had been burned by an emergency before & was just being (really) prepared.

Did anyone else have a hard time understanding what Abigail & Strand were saying? I kept turning up the volume, but I feel like I missed a lot of what they said.

One thing that was interesting is when Nick washed up on store, there were lights & there was a helicopter flying overhead. I forget the hitman's name, but that guy said he had secured passage for just him & Strand into Mexico & beyond. Does that mean it hasn't hit south of the border? Or they're better organized? Or that Abigail will only allow a limited number of people into his utopia?

Well it started out okay... a different setting than the walking dead and still early on in the apocalypse. However....

Like TWD, the show has made zombies just a faint backdrop. It is more about people banding together to fight off bad groups of people. Fear the walking dead seems to have accelerated things. I mean the apocalypse is still a recent event, yet there are already dictator type people with big compounds and lots of followers. I liked the walking dead and realize 6 seasons of just zombies would be boring.... but now the plot just keeps recycling as characters die off as the show moves from one bad group to another.

In the opening scene with Nick wandering through the tent forest, he walked past an RV that looked suspiciously like the one Dale used to drive :hmm:

In this case three marksmen aboard a US Navy ship made three simultaneous headshots on three separate individuals who were inside of a lifeboat that was moving about in a greater swell that was seen in the show.

I have no doubt that any of those three men could have made that same shot as we saw on the show.

Yeah that's annoying I missed some of the dialogue because I couldn't hear it, especially if my heat kicked on.

They were shooting from a stable vessel, not a Zodiac.

Thats literally the only way it was going to work. I was thinking how dumb the plan was because the zombie wouldn't shut up and they didn't gag it or something.

I don't understand the writing in this. Last week was pretty good. This week was pretty meh.

If you saw her on The 100, Alycia is a tremendous actress. She is way underutilized in this show playing that role.

Ugh, saw her on Talking Dead last night, I no likey the Australian accent. The Kiwi accent is nicer.
