BUT, WestJet does fly to Hamilton, which is not very far at all. If you don't want to get a rental car, I can come and pick you up. It's only ~35 minutes from my house.

from NYC to Toronto is 8hrs driving at maybe 5mph above speed limit.
fastest I've done that trip is 6hrs.

and toronto to montreal is about 8hrs. I would have done it in just under 5hrs if it wasn't for the traffic jam

Even though I haven't been too regular on the forums as a poster, I love reading the wealth of knowledge (and idiocy in some cases...including myself, lol) that is here. I've been reading Anandtech for well over a year now and can definately say that I'm pretty hardcore.

I'd love to come, but I've never been out of the country, and how frickin' far is it from Knoxville, TN? A day of driving? I sure as hell I can't afford a plane. February is a good month though, as I'll be 18 in a few days so I wouldn't be prohibited from visiting any places...unless Canadian laws are different.

In any case, if I could get a ride with a fellow ATer coming from the same area, or that would would be passing through Knoxville, I'd love to come. I got gas money too.

Besides, I've always wanted some Canadian lovin'.
