I think I figured out what Kat is trying to say... she's saying that Docks won't be open as a club that night 'cause there's a concert going on there. And when she says "to party after" she just means afterhours, not after the concert.

But Kat, if Docks is a cool place to party, won't it probably be open after the concert? I don't imagine the show will go past 11-11:30pm... ?

I would have to imagine that the Gorillaz show is already sold out, since shows for "in" bands in
Toronto tend to sell out in hours unless/and even if there are multiple shows. As for Hooters, I
was just kidding, I've heard that the food there really sucks.

Thanks for the heads up soulflare, I looked again at the tour dates and it happens that there's a show local to me (Hammerstein Ballroom, NYC) that's going on the following Thu 2/28, which my bf and I will go to instead. That way, we'll have more time to hang with everyone especially since it's only for a weekend and a good chunk of that time will be spent driving.
