February cumulative patch for IE

MS security bulletin MS03-004. Just came out.

Anyone installed it on IE6 SP1 and experimented Explorer is kind of intermittently displaying the source code of Web pages instead of rendering it ?

I haven't seen that behavior yet, but I could swear that an older hotfix showed up after installing the new cum. patch on IE6SP1.

I have IE/OE 6 installed and also SP1. I have no problems with running Explorer.

there are a couple ways that can happen though. One is a program you installed has messed around with Explorer. I installed Corel/Micrografx Picture Publisher 10 and Picture Publisher 10 Digital Camera Edition (DCE). It messes up Explorer/My computer. So you go to the Corel web site and click on Downloads. Scroll down until you see the patch for PP 10. Download it and install it. Fixes all the problems it causes for Explorer.

So you may have a similar problem with a program you installed and did not check if there are any updates for it. Problem is that download should be done first and then saved on your hard drive. After installing PP10 you should run that update patch. Reason why after installing PP 10 you cannot download anything until that patch is installed. The patch fixes a Registry entry. You have to download that patch BEFORE installing your progam.

I know everyone and his brother and sister and cousins likes to blame Microsoft for those problems but many of those problems are usually caused by a program(s) we installed.
