In his youth, he was probably an excellent coder. But he quickly transitioned to a pure CEO role, where his "flexible" ethics served him well. I'm not much of a fan of Bill Gates the Microsoftie, but he's been one of the most influential persons of his generation.

Bill gates has been heavily involved with HIV and with other threatening pandemics around the world. Gates knows how disease works because Gates has access, and he listens to some of the most intelligent involved doctors around the world not just within the United States. Plus...
