Fedex Shipping

Newegg's sending all my stuff by Fedex Express Saver shipping. How long does this take usually? I'm on the East Coast, newegg is in california.

Also, does Fedex require that someone be here to sign for the package? I won't be home at all this week (school), so I need to figure out some way to get around having someone sign for it.. any ideas what I can do?

Usaually takes 3 days to get my stuff from Newegg here in Western PA, FedEx Express Saver

FedEx will leave a little sticky thing, fill it out and theyll leave your packages

approx 3-4 days. You have to sign it or you can sign something that basically says you don't need to sign packages. you could call fedex about that.

Eh, just called Fedex... was surprised I got a customer service guy as soon as I pushed *. But the guy sounded like he was 95 years old, half drunk, and asleep. He had to put me on hold to find out what a signature release form was... glad to see they pay their people well.

FYI ... a heads up on signing a signature waiver form. Once they have one, all shipments to that address will no longer require a signature, so they can, and will in many cases drop the goods on your front doorstep. A client of mine lost a laptop that way, having signed a waiver the last year for some books he ordered. I dont know if Fedex ever paid to replace it or not.

Eh, well, it was delivered today, and even though I signed the waiver yesterday and handed it in, they still required a signature (luckily I had just gotten home). Looks like Fedex delivers at the perfect time for me.

when u buy something tell the company in the comments to drop at door and they will leave that in the fedex notes and you dont have to sign for it. i do it all the time....
