3. Why would he want to sell his soul to the devil?
4. It's only been a week so far - I like how people rush this type of shit.
5. What's there to be scared of?

Brock Lesnar - a guy who lost to Frank Mir via some ankle lock? Brock would get Zulu'd. I would have thought so too, but after watching him rape Mir, I'm not too sure.
Frank Mir - out of his prime, definitely not in Fedor's league But could still give him a good fight.Possibly as good as Barnett.
Randy Couture - would probably put up a better fight than the two mentioned previously, but he's getting old. Agreed, but the old man can still bring it.
Minotauro - he's awesome - but he is getting old and he's lost to Fedor twice No argument there! Don't forget, he is already, ahem, 32 years old.
Cro Cop - was beat up by Fedor when he was really in his prime owning people. If he's in really good shape though he might stand the best chance out of any heavyweight in the UFC. Disagree, I think he does not like the cage fighting. He's looked sooo uncomfortable in the cage
Carwin - would get Sylvia'd. He needs a bit more seasoning. Give him a year or so and it could get interesting
Heath Herring - LOL. LOL x2
You also forgot the 6-0 Cain Velasquez

So tell me, after going to Japan and fighting Barnett, what's left? Oh yeah, Don Frye must still be out there somewhere.Sakuraba anyone? Maybe an epic rematch with Bob Sapp perhaps? Oh wait! I got it! Ken Shamrock will put up "competition" for Fedor as soon as he can stop those pesky phantom knockouts. Is Dan Severn still out there? Maybe Zombie Kimo could put up a challenge.

All kidding aside, it would be pretty neat to see someone like the Spider, who walks around at 210 or so, bulk up a bit and try to give it a shot. Or possibly Machida. That would be an interesting contrast in fighting styles.

Peace

I think you're forgetting one little stipulation from the ufc/m1 negotiation, m1 wanted to co-promote the event. Meaning a 50/50 split in profits and the name of the event would be UFC/M-1 Global just like Affliction/M-1 Global was. Dana White wouldn't agree to this, and i doubt anyone in his position would either, so the deal was dropped.

I am quite possibly, the worst person evar, at correctly analyzing a fight match-up. This will now become evident.

I think Mir would give him a very hard time. Rear naked's and arm bars are Fedor's bread&butter, and Mir will be right at home defending those. Mir has proven he can bang too. Fedor would win by K.O. or decision, no sub.

Fedor would run Randy over, a K.O. from punches.

I think Lesnar would make a mistake and get subbed, the way he did in the first fight with Mir. That, or he'd physically dominate for a win.

That first video appears to be sped up in parts to make him look more devastating...wtf, if he's not devastating enough, no need to fake it.

Great footage tho. He's a brutal attacker and defender, and can take some brutal shots as well. His balance, speed, and power are a thing of beauty to watch.

The way he reacted and took control after randleman threw him on his head just isn't human. :Q

UFC has nothing to offer to Fedor in terms of quality fighters, and fame is the last thing on Fedor's mind. Randy is too old unfortunately, would be an epic fight if he would be at his prime now. Lesnar is a steroid whore with no record, he has a long way to go before even opening his mouth about Fedor. Mir is a great fighter but still recovering from his incident and likely not reach the level of Fedor/Randy, but who knows. Nogueira is good but was already schooled by Fedor twice. Another fight with CroCop might be interesting. Here are some interesting facts about Fedor (from Sherdog forum):

There is only ONE fighter that has beaten:

5 different X UFC champions
Coleman
Randleman
Sylvia
Nog
Arlovski

4 kick boxing champions
Schilt
Hunt
Goodridge
HMC

6 different MMA champions
Coleman
Randleman
Sylvia
Nog
Goodridge
Arlovski

2 silver olympic medalist
Lindland
Ogawa

1 ADCC open weight champion
Arona

Honorable mention
Mirko Crocop
3 time K-1 finalist
2005 GP finalist
2006 GP winner Post Fedor fight

There is only 1 fighter that has gone 30+ fights that has

- Never lost a decision.
- Never been sub'd
- Never been knocked out
- Never been knocked down by any type of strike.

Only one fighter that has ever won 5 different mma championships.
- Wamma HW belt
- Pride HW belt
- Pride Grand Prix tournament
- Rings king of kings tournament
- Rings world class tournament

All while finishing 76% of his opponents.
A current 25 fight win streak
With 22 victories in the first round
4 victories in the first minute
12 victories in the first 2 minutes

No other fighter in all MMA has any where near the list of accomplishments.

Lol - the guy who wrote that kept bragging on how no one thanked him for coming up with that list

aside from lesnar, the HW division is pretty weak. fedor could probably cut to 205 and take on some real competition.
