fedor is such a smart fighter. he was trapping arlovski the entire time. watch how he backs off punches and exaggerates the damage from arlovskis kick to draw him into that corner. if arlovski kept cool and didnt get over confident the fight would have lasted much longer.

Fedor is the best heavyweight out there. I keep seeing people mention the UFC. People say that Fedor doesn't fight the best. Ok so lets break that down. 6 months ago who was the UFC Heavyweight champion? Big Nog. Fedor has beaten him multiple times. So now we have Mir and Lesnar. 6 months ago people would have say Fedor was fighting shitty competition if he had fought either of those guys.

Fedor would CRUSH Mir. No doubt. Lesnar provides a little different challenge but he got caught by a straight forward leglock by Mir. So Fedor would take some punishment for a round or so before he submitted Lesnar.

Fedor has beaten every great heavyweight out there. The only person left to fight is Barnett. I just don't see that fight happening. Fedor doesn't want to fight him because they are friends.

exactly the ufc heavyweight division is crap. maybe if lesnar gets a ground game he'll be able to compete.

That's the thing...Fedor is hyped up to be "God". He's not "God"...go back and look at any of his previous fights. He's been in some sh!t situations, the most notable of which I can think of is Mark Coleman. The guy had him in a body triangle, trying to sink in a rear naked choke. Fedor fought him off for 2 minutes, got back up to his feet, and got thrown down twice. Fedor submitted the dood on Fedor's back. All he needs is one mistake and he capitalizes. The only way to beat this guy is to fight a perfect, no mistakes bout. So far no one has.

That dood that won TUF 7 I think - Amir Sadollah - he has that same calmness about him. Granted, Amir doesn't have that KO power that Fedor has, but every fight in TUF Amir has been in the sh!t and just calmly gets out or submits the dood. (And no, I'm not saying Amir = Fedor, not by a long shot)

amir is going to be great. should be good to see how he does.

Fedor is great. he sees a small mistake and makes you pay for it. He has called out Brock lesner. i am hopeing Dana will make it happen. Though i feel sorry for Lesner if it does heh

Yeah, Tito sucked as an announcer. He seemed really nervous, which he probably was. And someone needs to instruct him on how to pronounce the fighter's names beforehand. He kept saying Fe-uh-dor, like Theodore. He couldn't say his last name right either when he was interviewing him in the ring after the fight.

Some don't consider it a loss due to the nature of the fight and the illegal elbow. I am not taking any sides since I never saw the fight he got the elbow, I am simply going from conversations I have had with people that saw it. Some say it wasn't an elbow some say it was.
