Are you saying that the way democrats are treating the massive amount of illegal Mexican workers, as if they are nothing more than expensive slave labor, is any different then how they treated blacks way back when?
Every time I hear someone saying how we need Mexicans to do the jobs that Americans will not do, it drives me up a wall. They, like black slaves are touted as the cheep labor force willing to whatever they are asked so they can feed themselves. Yet no one has issue with that. Can you imagine what the backlash would be if a Conservative were to say that America needs black people, because they are the only ones willing to do the hard work for such little pay? The Democrat part is as raciest as they were when Byrd was a Grand Pooh or whatever the fuck he was. They just have to pander publicly.

Don't pin this on Democrats. The idea of safe spaces is counterproductive. College is where kids are made to defend their ideas in an open and free marketplace. It is not a place to stunt your intellectual and social development by creating areas that are only for people just like you. Life does not work like that. Companies do not provide safe spaces. You are going to have to deal with people of other races and other worldviews. College is the ideal place to do that. Safe spaces REMOVE critical learning opportunities from you. Safe spaces INDOCTRINATE you to distrust and dislike the other. Safe spaces are irrational and harmful to you and to your future.

You must stretch a lot to get into those positions. Incredible.

You know who says we need their labor? Businesses.

You know who does anything for businesses? Demo--WAIT NO. It's conservatives who talk about deregulation and weakening or eliminating the EPA, unions, etc. And they throw in tax breaks, too! Such a sweet deal!

You know who would like to see the underclass workforce treated humanely and see their lives improve and wages increase to be reasonable in the market? Conserv--WAIT NO. That's silly. They absolutely have no desire to see a huge swath of "others" treated with anything resembling dignity and respect. Ignoring that it's the running theme of America, it's somehow un-American!

So yeah, every time you hear someone saying we need Mexicans to do those jobs, check and find out if they want to see those people treated like actual people, or treated like the new serf class. Those answers shouldn't surprise anyone.

Yes, black colleges were created because blacks were systematically excluded from historically/predominantly white ones. Even after this wasn't legal anymore, the admissions were such that nobody from black socioeconomic statra were going to get admitted, nevermind the general prejudice of the population against these 3/5 people who forced their way in.

This was simply a reality of history, which is something you can choose to learn and understand or be willfully ignorant of instead embrace a political ideology. To further clarify, this is the scholarly history taught at school, which is why parties it reflects poorly on don't particularly care for academic education. For example:

It's not that great of a surprise that scholars who pursue facts and knowledge for a living prefer a party which doesn't actively hate their profession.

Giving blacks and other colored people dorm just for themselves is idiotic, and segregation. Which certainly would not be allowed if the other way. The reasoning is also silly and hypocritical.

A California university is the latest public school of higher education to establish “black-only” co-ed housing in response to demands from African-American students seeking refuge from what they consider insensitive remarks and “microaggressions” from their white classmates.

Then were do blacks go when other blacks make "insensitive remarks" to them about their race, and microaggressions (made up word btw)? In my experience blacks can be just as, if not more racist than anyone else towards their own. Doing racist things, then complaining about racism is idiotic.
