They are horrible, but worse is old people, like that guy who drove for hours and hours because he was "confused", and the guy I saw on wildest police chases who was driving down the highway on the wrong side and he police man behind him with siren blazing confused him so he kept on going (causing a major accident).

Honestly, I dont know why girl teens pay less for car insurance. I dont think I know one sane girl driver.

I had it described to me this way one time. Female drivers have less skill and tend to do stupid things like hit stationary objects (parked cars, light poles, garage doors ) back-up into ditches, etc... But men, though they generally have more skill, tend to drive at the edge or above those skills and get themselves into more catastrophic accidents (high speed crashes). Don't know if that is true, but it seems reasonable and fits most women I know. Seems like most of the married men I have worked with have complained at one point or another about their wives hitting their other car in the driveway, hitting their mailbox, etc... stupid stuff.

yes teenage girls pay less then teenage boys. I have two older sisters, one 20 and one 23, both with points on their record and an accident under their belt, who pay less then me. I'm 19, have driven for over 2 years, and have a perfect record.

Oh well, not like I pay for my insurance anyways

Wow. The helmet pic was the best.

And yeah, an aunt of mine is a terrible driver. She's really fvcking jumpy, so anything scares the hell out of her. She doesn't even like driving anything bigger than her camry because it scares her. If a car changes into her lane infront of her, she gets nervous and screams. And she always floors it when accelerating and waits until the last second to brake. Even if she's a passenger she's all jumpy. But then again, she's always kinda jumpy, even when she's nowhere near a car.

My mom hit a fence the first time she drove, but she also didn't know what she was doing (she was in a car w/o power steering and it had a manual transmission... was 30 years ago). I still bug her about it though.

For me, as a guy, I drive faster than I should. Although after I got my speeding ticket at the beginning of this year I've slowed down a bit (and learned another route to work), but I still speed.

Teenage girls pay less than teenage guys because teenage males have no place being on the road, period. As people age this changes a bit. As adults women may still get in less accidents, but it's because they drive a lot less. For adults, for each mile driven, men get in less accidents. So, even with the fact that men are still more aggressive than women, they get in less accidents per mile driven as adults, because they CAN'T DRIVE! Course, a lot of men can't either. Everybody sucks, and that's really the main point to take from this.
