So far, Ferrari hasn't let any magazines or media to test the performance of its Enzo supercar. Officially, it claims the car can accelerate from 0-100kph in 3.65 second. Now Maranello finally let journalists to witness, if not perform, the test. Driven by Ferrari's test driver Dario Benuzzi in Fiorano test track, the Enzo recorded 0-100kph in 3.51 seconds - an equivalent to 3.4 second for 0-60mph. 0-200kph took 9.48 second, matching the company's claim of 9.5 second. That confirmed our believe - Enzo is the next fastest road car to McLaren F1.

you can just make a custom finger corvette and it goes 0-60 in 1.92 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 9.12 seconds

And this car only costs 165k

I'm sorry, but NO Corvette = Ferrari Enzo.

That's about as weehtahdid as comparing a tricked out Civic to a 350Z.

Eh, I'd take that lingenfelter corvette over an Enzo (no, wait, I'd take an Enzo, sell it, and buy a lingenfelter corvetter and sit around on over a cool million of cash) simply because that corvette is way more use able. You CAN drive it around much more often then you could that ferrari. The lingenfelter corvette is pretty close to being able to drive daily. It's made to be USED rather then babied like that ferrari race car gone road car has been. I'm sure the Enzo is a finicky car, it's not made to rack up miles.

While yes, the Enzo is the closest thing to a true race car you can take on the street, I would still take that corvette. I would rather have an amazing car that I would use more often then the most amazing car in the world that I would barely ever use.

And you won't be running high performance tires on that Enzo?

They wouldn't be slicks. High performance tires != slicks.

And the problem with slicks is?

The one argument against them is that they're not practical for street use..but when are you ever going to find an Enzo on the streets?

I don't think it's a stretch to say that Corvette is a tad better in the price/performance value..

1) Chances of seeing an Enzo on the street are greater than seeing a Corvette with slicks next to you at a stoplight
2) A Vette is a Vette is Vette
3) A $160,000 Vette still looks like a $40,000 Vette. An Enzo is an Enzo. There's no mistaking it.

That being said, the comparisons are stoopid. It's like comparing a Infiniti Q45 to a Bently or a Rolls Royce. Give me a break

That Vette's tires are not street legal

According to something somebody said in Excelsior's link, they were street legal slicks but I'm trying to confirm that...

Edit: I posted before you looked I guess, sorry

You're right, the 427 Vette has considerably more horsepower, more torque, more displacement, higher top speed, faster 1/4 mile time, and gets better gas mileage to boot.

And since this thread is about the performance of the Enzo..speaking in terms of performance the 427 Corvette owns the Enzo.

Vette's are simply best bang for your buck performance cars. (I have the Z06 in mind)
