My first notebook was one of the Acer Ferrari ones, and at the time I did look all around, and it was the best combination of power (dedicated graphics card, fast processor) and price at the time. It's the only piece of Ferrari branded items I had, so I didn't get it for the logo at all. Acer had another line named Travelmate, that at the time one of the models for it had the exact same specs, except cost even more.

Obviously nowadays that just isn't true for the new ones unfortunately.

The acer Ferrari line is supposed to be their highend line and thats why they Use actual Ferrari red paint; or I should saiy its actual Ferrari red paint.
Maybe Ferrari didn't pick Acer, possibly the other way around.
Granted 1.2ghz is not fast, but its a netbook and I do not recall what the fastest processor speed is for a netbook. Maybe its an older model or just part of the Ferrari line. I think current Netbooks top out at 1.6ghz, but I could be wrong.

I would agree that the Ferrari line would be better off with another brand or better Notebook, but it is what it is.

It is actually faster than the Atom 330 1.6ghz dual core. It does however consume a lot more power as well.

Nice specs. The Acer Ferrari laptops usually have a very nice finish.
