1. Schindler's List (brought to light, in the most realistic way possible, the absolute horror of the Holocaust)
2. Deer Hunter (made it clear that Viet Nam was a fvcked up hell hole)
3. Brokeback Mountain (made a statement regarding the plight of GLBT people then AND now)
