I purchased PSU [Corsair RM750 2014 edition] which turned to be too long (180mm) restricting the first VGA cards slot to a max of 240mm. I have spare R9 280X but the question am asking myself. Do I need a PSU 2 run 2 cards or one, since the only monitor at my friends place is a 24" 1080p TN panel 120Hz or 42" LED 1080P 60Hz TV.

Second in terms of power I can't fit a 1000W PSU only 850-860W which will not be sufficient to run two cards. Shall I go with 650W unit which is sufficient to run one high end card and a pcie card if I want one?
Regards;
