If he interfered with the mail that is a Federal Offense. Call the Post Master General or go to the post office and make a complaint. Tampering with a mail box with mail inside is a federal offense. Contact the Better Business Bureau. Get all the renters to make complaints. Find his address and take your revenge in the middle of the night. I am reading through the whole thread now (boggled)...and i i am afraid that the OP will NOT do this.
The OP has already proven that he won't do ***t, he put up with this BS since JULY...he did NOT seek legal advice/lawyer etc. instead he mentioned a few times "yes..i really should...."
Anyway, I am surprised that, after 5 months of this overly absurd spiel going on...he finally IS ABOUT TO MOVE. Needless to say its mind boggling he didnt do this way, way earlier.
Don't get me wrong..the LL is certainly the biggest douche ever...just reading this makes my mind explode in disbelief...but there is NO reason to put up with something like that for such a long time.
I also dont think that the OPs re-actions in some cases "so i called him an a***hole and to f*** off" would help the situation ONE BIT Basically asking for more trouble...
