Yup 2.475GHz on my Winchester 3000+, the best part? I'm air cooling, and run 36c idle, and 46c load, and I'm still only running 1.4v!!! And yes, it has been Prime95, SuperPI, Memtest86, and 3DMark2001, 03, and 05 approved! Rock solid!

I can hit mid 2500's on my 939 3200+.

However, saying two different cores OC's don't really equate to equal performance in real life. I'd say a clock for clock benchmark battle would be the clearer indication.

Winchester 3000+ (CBBFD 0443) @ 2.385 GHz (265x9)
Winchester 3000+ (CBBID 0507) @ 2.400 GHz (267x9)

Both on A8N-SLI mobo with 1.58 Vcore, TT SilentBoost HSF, memory on CPU/11 speed (5/6 divider).
Funny how they both top out at almost same limit (~ 33% overclock).

I go with the 3200+ lately, I have a winny and a venice coming monday.

I go 3200+ instead of 3000+ because the 10x multi is nice. But I wouldnt argue with those who choose 3000+
and i wouldnt expect them to argue with me, because the price difference is so small.. its $50 from 3000 to 3200 on winny or venice. you'd have to be a moron to argue that IMO.
but we have those people in the video card forum so...

i go 3200 mainly because i have ddr500, i can run 1ghz HT, 1:1 250fsb and achieve a nice even 2.5ghz.

i dont care about extreme overclocking, i just want it to run a bit better for my money.
500mhz on a A64 isnt just "a little bit better" but you get the point.

either 3200 or 3000, shouldnt be a debate. and i never knew there was one with the price difference.

I got a NC 2800+(1.8Ghz)@2.6Ghz. 44.44%. Vcore 1.67V, Vram 2.9V. Cooling with XP90, cheap color fan. 8X325FSB, HTT=3, temps=39C idle, and 55C load. Board is DFI nF3-250GB. RAM is OCZ Platinum 2Gig kit PC3200, ratio is 170:1, odd ball ratio. And lots of luck.
I missed out on a great deal 3700+ for $150. So I got his chip expecting no more than 2.4Ghz. I paid $109+7.75% tax from Newegg.

wow that awsome bad dude. i cant get my HTT to 267 (2403mhz) without crashing in windows after a few mins. i use vcore at 1.6, maybe if i went higher? my memory cant do more than 205 or so so i'd need to use 133 ratio which would only give me 176.22. i wish my mobo had a 150 option

I have a sempron 1600mhz @ 2400=50%. I was at 2500 but just turned it down. I think it was the ram though not the cpu giving me issues at 2500.

System in sig

3000+ Venice @ 2.6GHZ 1.45v

This chip will do 2700 for sure, maybe 2800, but I need a better cooler. I'm running the retail HSF, but it's damn good if I do say so myself.

might as well chime in since we are bringing this thread back to life!

3000+ @ 2.8ghz on only 1.51v

2.9 is a VERY real possibility except for the fact my neo2 can't handle higher than 314 HTT..

We aren't all blessed to get boards capable of 350HTT+ like duvie!
