Finally cheap 128Mb PC133 SDRAM from a decent reseller ($59 +$12 s/h)

The price updates to $59.45 when you add it in your basket. S/H is a bit steep at $12 for UPS ground, but since there is no sales tax to ship it to CA, for me it is worth it. Looks to be generic (Industrial Standard) but my Asus P3B-F seems to take ANY kind of memory!

Anyone know ANYTHING about "Industrial Standard" memory?

Also, the resellerratings.com ratings for Neutron seem a bit
odd. The numerical ratings are TREMENDOUSLY good. But when you read
the actual buyer comments, they are (on the whole) mediocre at best.

As soon as I get this PC133 SDRAM, I'll post here what kind it is and how it runs. Hmmm...you have a point...the resellerratings comments do not look that good

oh well. i bought 2 just for the hell of it, them being so cheap. Used my blue card, which has a guaranteed return feature. Even if the retailer wont take it back, Amex will take it and return my $$.

Amazing that I was buying PC100 sticks for twice as much a month and a half ago.

Well, you're not going to find much cheaper shipping elsewhere. Checking on pricewatch, just about all the ram is $59-65, and shipping ranges from $9-14, although they claim it's "insured." That isnt all that bad, really, considering that I priced a 1 lb package, shipped from their warehouse in PA to my home in Ohio, and the cost was $7.59, plus $0.35 for insurance ($100) (that was for 2nd day air, ground service wasn't listed). And since they're using a flat rate, those of you in California are probably paying close to the correct shipping rate.
