FINALLY GOT IT BUILT Specs inside WAHOO!

Ok this is a project that has been in the works since August. A SMP Computer
SPECS:
APEX Fulltower Supercase with a Sparkle 300 Watt Power supply, 1 120 mm Sunon fan as an exhaust, cut the blowhole myself with a dremel, 4 90 MM case fans.
Dual P III 600 Katmai Processors running at 650 on a 100 mhz FSB with GORBS using Artic Silver
Centon PC 133 RAM
Tyan Tiger S1832DL Rev F Mobo
2 Maxtor 7200 RPM Hdd ATA 66 Mobo supports this
Dual metal HDD coolers on the Hdds
SB Live Plat. 5.1 with Livedrive 2
Cambridge Soundworks FPS2000 speakers
Voodoo 5 5000, 64 megs with dual processors and fans
3com PCI NIC card (not sure which model)
CL 32x CD Rom
4x4x4 CDRW, Mitsumi Generic.


This sucker ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I just have to figure out how to OC it

How are you running the 600's at 650 whilst still maintaining 100mhz fsb?

Not sure, they booted at 600 during set up, but then I enabled the S.M.A.R.T. on the mobo, which support ata 66 and all the sudden they are doing 650. go figure. Supposedly the Multiplier is locked, but they are running rock solid. I ran the QIII Entro video in a loop all night long just to see what would happen, and enabled process tracking. CPUs spiked out at about 85 percent each, but the video was still running with no problems this morning.

maybe he has unlocked Multipliers on his chips and doesnt even know it!

I just bought these from smurphus here on the FS/T board. If the multipliers are unlocked, how do I OC them on this board. Tyan tiger 100 S1832DL Rev F. PC 133 RAM.

I'd think that if you wanted to overclock them, you'd have to have a real nice heatsink. Why didn't you get Coppermine processors and motherboard? They overclock much better.

Would love to, but the CFO, AKA my wife, says that the money has to pay the house note first, go figure. Any, all smart@ss comments aside, My next project is a quad xenon. But got to save the bucks first.

Overclocking a dual-CPU system is a bit tricky. This is because overclocking varies the processor speed and that could lead to errors when it is processing information. You have to make sure that both processors run exactly at the same clock speed with 100% stability.
