Coffee increases cholesterol??
Experts have directed me differently. Example, when I started getting bloodwork done, coffee was not allowed during the fast. Now they say it’s cool. My total cholesterol was always so high that a 20 point change was negligible. As I inched closer to 200, I was looking for ways to get lower, as a lifelong addict of something or another, coffee had been with me for 25 years and I wanted to prove I could quit. Lo and behold, next bloodwork was even better. I’ve had two done sans coffee, both under 200. It’s seriously a daily struggle tho to abstain, shout out to my wife who gets to hear my daily belly aching about it

While my 2023 goal was to quit all recreational drug usage, I didn’t cut caffeine completely, I still use 1-2 green tea bags a day. But…I’m off the 25 year coffee dependency

Sorry, I have to have at least one cup of coffee at day, mostly 2, very rarely 3. I think I will live. Fortunately, atorvastatin does the job quite well for me. Exercise takes care of the LDL's.

It’s so much about genetics it’s ridiculous

Coffee increases inflammation, which encourages cholesterol plaque buildup in arteries. Note that cholesterol is naturally occurring in our bloodstream and isn't a problem; its the cholesterol sticking to arteries that's an issue.
Seems to highly depend on the individual. For many people studies seem to show that coffee reduces inflammation and risk of various diseases.

Cut pop, cut coffee to 1 per day and no more 3x3 or 4x4, don't eat meat during daylight, if you drink switch it to wine instead of beer, mix up some fruits vegan protein drinks and walk anywhere within 1km(0.6 freedom unit) You will be back to size M by the end of the years and save yourself alot of money along the way.

I assume you mean don't eat meat for lunch? Not eating during daylight is highly dependent on your location. When I lived in Scotland, daylight during the summer would start well before breakfast and end well after dinner. (We could go to a club and it would be twilight and when we'd leave the dawn would be about to break.)

On top of that, Wine has a lot more sugar in it than healthy drinks like Scotch. (though dry wines are better than sweet wines in general).

Yes I meant Breakfast and lunch, Cancuck here in my location sundown after 9pm in the summer I know what you meant. But when you put it this way it might not be a bad idea to be a vegan for half a year.

Most wines contain under 5g of sugar/L and don't affect uric acid like beer, plus a bit of health benefit.

Sorry i was somewhat joking by calling Scotch a "healthy" drink. I didn't intend rudeness against you.
I do agree that dry wines are quite reasonable when it comes to the carb levels, and I love my dry reds. (Lately been discovering a love for extra dry sherry as well.)
My wife on the other hand, loves her Moscato, which usually has well over 100gm of sugar in a 750ml bottle.

None taken, not sure about how "healthy" Scotch or other whisky are but I do find that my body agrees with wine/whisky more than beer. Guess that's because beer doesn't leave me room to down a lot of water while I drink.
