Find-a-Drug DC project

Here is another DC project that some people may want to get involved in. From reading their "About US" and "FAQs" links, it looks like this is some sort of spinoff of the UD project. I went ahead and setup a TeAm Anandtech team, for those interested in joining we are team# 2039. The WU's take a while to complete, I've got a P3/500 running and I've only completed 1.81 wu's in the past 15 hours. The stats pages look like they only update a couple times a day, so you may not see TeAm Anandtech listed since it was created this morning.

Bump because it looks like it's just me doing this project. I'd like to see some more support for it. It runs a lot better than D2OL and it allows a choice of drug categories to work on.

Runs pretty smooth. Does anyone have any tips for increasing production?

Welcome to the TeAm Crazee. There's not much you can do to increase the speed. The big thing is just keeping the graphics window hidden and use the line view if you want to see the molecules.

I have been keeping it hidden so I guess it is running as fast as it can. Does the number of molecules vary by job? The reason I ask is that I was looking at the team stats and the team above us has only done 17 jobs and we have done 72, but they have more molecules than we do.

I thought I remembered a thread earlier about someone starting a find a drug team and I found it

Does anyone know how often they update stats?

Yes, the number of molecules does vary per job. It starts at 10,000 and can go up or down from there.

Stats are updated every 6 hours. I have no idea what the time zone is. I should also note that the client doesn't always uploads a job when it's completed. It like s to do batch transfers. To manually send or receive, just open the server window (the queue option) and choose the appropriate button or File menu command.

I did it for a while sometime ago. Its alot more efficient and faster than the UD so if you really want to make a difference you should go with it.

Found out that the stats are on GMT.

And we've now moved up to 25th!

Mardeth, would you be interested in throwing your production on with the TeAm? Even if you don't continue producing, your existing production would move us to #20 I believe
