For years I'd make a burrito every night and I'd spice it up with this sauce (imported from Thailand) of which I'd buy several bottles at once in Chinatown Oakland, where it was WAY cheaper than the exorbitant price Amazon is charging!

The ingredients list is hell of simple and there's nothing objectionable in it.

Shark Brand Sriracha Chili Sauce, Medium Hot, 25 Ounce Bottle

Depends on how big an Asian population you got. I can even get some Taiwanese stuff from my Walmart.
We have a huge Asian population around here, Latino too. Extremely diverse populace, in fact in and around Berkeley, CA it appears to me that it doesn't matter who you are, you are a minority!

I have all those ingredients on hand, including flaked dried chillies. I could make a bottle, maybe rivaling this. I've never gotten into a kick of surveying the hot sauce multiverse.

I am allso pissed at the entire nation of China and everyone of Chinese decent for keeping this stuff on the low down! It's freaking amazing! It's not that hot but it's just so savoury!

Looks similar to Sambal? I keep a jar in my fridge and use it for almost any Asian dishes I make (including ramen.) It adds a decent amount of heat and good flavor.

Then you should be able to get balut
I'm not big on trying weird-ass Asian food. I've seen some in Chinatown Oakland but never tempted to buy things hanging from strings in the breeze.

I had a dream this morning about wanting to euthanize a rodent that was in agony after being run over by a car.

It's not. It's crunchy and intensely savoury. It's not massively hot, I think it's the fried beans in it that make it so tasty.

Balut is not hang. It sits on an egg tray xd.

The only hot sauce in our house is Texas Pete, and it is never just put on food. It is used when cooking or grilling food. It imparts a little heat, but a lot of flavor. Other sauces have been tried, but it's the flavor of Texas Pete we prefer.

Yes, I know it is not made in Texas, as it actually made in my state, NC, and I don't give a fuck.

Do it! I like that his sauce comes from just up the road from me.

Edit: then send me some!
Well, I could whip up some in a few minutes in my kitchen, however I'd have to grind down the coriander seeds (which I grow myself in back yard, it's just cilantro seeds, same thing). I have a home made mortar and pestle from wood. I can throw some pepper flakes in there with the coriander, add the other stuff. Another kitchen project, I do a lot of those.

I'll be waiting for the delivery then!

this is what I use for Taiwanese spicy beef noodle, though I buy the one without Chili and add the chili to people that want it spicy.

it's made near my hometown
I also get sun dried noodle from the same town.

So, you have had some time, what do you think of it?
Its weird. Like licking a line of coke, or getting a lidocaine spray. Definitely something medical. It works with food but my main mistake was chugging about a teaspoon full to see what it was. It's not nice on its own!
Certainly makes food better when used in small quantities, it's not like chilli where better is more!

Taste, not chug lol. You use this as part of a complex blend, not by itself.

Now he knows. Getting blasted with $item lets you judge what you can get away with, and what to expect when mixing it down.
