I am not a fan of too much heat. I do love me some chile garlic on just about anything. This one is available all over.

Got my brother-in-law this set of three from the Hot Ones Show https://heatonist.com/products/season-17-heat-pack

The green one is the hottest of that batch. According to the history of hot ones sauces, it is just over 700,000 scoville units. That shit was really fucking hot. We tried them all at Xmas. https://www.saucemania.com.au/hot-sauce/a-complete-list-of-hot-ones-hot-sauces/

I got like 20 hot sauces for Christmas and the Hot Ones branded ones are all in there. I've only tried the los calientes so far which is quite tasty but not really that hot. I think I wiped out the whole bottle on a couple plates of chicken nachos. Hottest sauce so far is some local sauce called "Straight up the ghost" which was a ghost pepper mix, I'd actually like to find some more of that one.

Honestly, Frank's Red Hot is pretty good for some things since you can use a lot of it.

Weirdest thing is the hottest thing I've ever eaten were these jalapeno popper from price chopper. You know jalapeno poppers, they're mostly cream cheese, tasty but really mild a mild heat generally. I think some one was playing a joke because those things defeated me. I had to toss half of them because I couldn't eat them all. Whole head overheating, crying, the whole works. I know the guy left the seeds in but even that doesn't explain it for me maybe they snuck some carolina reapers in there.

A few days ago we were ordering teriyaki takeout. I usually get the spicy chicken and kimchi. I really like the place. The portions are so large I usually have enough leftover to throw in a bowl of noodles the next day. While ordering I noticed something new on the menu. Volcano chicken...Sounded good to me. I mean the spicy stuff was not spicy to me. I usually load it up with sriracha to give it more flavor.

Fuhhhh...Any hotter and it would have been inedible. I used some sriracha and kimchi to cool down my mouth. I woke up the next day with a stomach ache and the burning shits. Then I ate the leftovers for lunch

Been to 8-9 buffets of various kinds in the last 2-3 weeks. One had falafels that were real spicy (I liked!), but yesterdays was really bland.

Too bad they closed all their restaurants!
Some of them closed, the one 3 blocks from my house closed DOH! But of course, the ones 30'ish miles from me are still open. I know it's a chain and chains are garbage blah blah blah. But I enjoyed going there, rib tips with Pineapple Rage sauce and 3 cornbread muffins with a draft 805 always hit the spot.

As for spicy, their Wilbers Revenge BBQ sauce is actually spicy. And their Pineapple Rage is outstanding, it's got a nice kick of heat and the chunks of pineapple and the sweet from it make it so good.

Is it hot? I saw that at the dollarstore, but Tapatio isn't a particularly hot sauce, and the packaging was wasteful, so I didn't bother. If it's good, I might grab some.
FWIW, Tapatio is the my absolute least favorite hot sauce. I literally only eat it if there is zero options at my friends and family homes. But this ramen didn't have that taste and was pretty decent when I tried it.

Fanfuckingtastic! Nice kick, and tastes great. I got three different packs that are variations on a theme. Short expiry so they were ≤$1/each. Wish I got more now. Is cheese a weird flavor for Korean food?

Americans spent a long time there and brought in the flavour.

Two spicy items that I've grown very fond of and didn't know about until the last few years:

Mexican Oregano (Lippia graveolens) - does something special for refritos

Old Bay Seasoning - I put some in my salads and lots of other things

Eating Wicked Cutz Carolina Killa Beef Jerkey. I've had like 5 different jerkeys they make and they're all fantastic. Soft with a nice bit of chew and ton of flavor. This one has a decent amount of Carolina Reaper in it, it's definitely on the high end of spicy for a product you can get at a lot of places. It doesn't hit right away, you taste the beef and a hint of sweetness before the heat starts to creep in. It builds pretty quickly and lingers for a solid few minutes. This will absolutely be too spicy for most people. I get just a slight leak in my sinuses and it leaves my mouth on fire. It's a very solid 4/5. Would easily be a 5/5 for anyone who tops out at a Tabasco.

The texture's so good, and $8 for a 2.75oz bag isn't a bad deal. This is so much better than Jack Links or the other brands I see at stores around here. They also have a really good buffalo chicken one and a couple of bacon ones that are super. And not that I care too much, but it's nice that it only has 115mg of sodium per serving (3 per bag) so it's not the salt bomb that a lot of jerkey's are.

yup, it's the real deal, I ate about a 1/3 of the bag on an empty stomach and it gave me pretty good cramps. It's nice to find something that's legit spicy. I definitely won't eat it on an empty stomach again though lol.

I got a can of this from BigLots...

It's legit hot. I think it would be too much for a lot of people, and it's about as hot as I want to go for a chicken noodle soup. I don't think chicken noodle is the most conducive platform for high heat. Something like chili, or a saucy Indian dish would be better.

What kind of cheese flavor? I watched 3 reviews on YT and read 1 on t3h g00gles and none explained what the cheese reminded them of. And 1 of the reviewers said it wasn't good but admitted he doesn't like cheese lol. There are a million different cheeses, and as you said. It's not just cheese but Korean too, so I'm confused about what cheese flavor they were going for. I just went to the Asian Market to look for what you got, but they only sell them in the regular ramen 5 packs. I was gonna try it but I saw the Cream Carbonara, which is another head scratcher for a Korean food lol. Even more confusing it's hot chicken flavored. But I read a bunch of reviews that said it was delicious. I bought the X2 spicy 5 pack yesterday, and it's fuckin hot hot. They claim 10,000 SHU, which is up there, but I've eaten way spicier things that didn't make my nose run and have me in semi pain like these noodles. So I dunno what kind of trickey's going on here. The entire Buldak line's spicy, and apparently even the one you got has quite a kick. The 2x are impressively hot. For anyone who likes spicy the X2 also tastes good, it's burn your mouth hot but there's still a nice base flavor. They have a stir fry and a soup version. The Stir Fry you drain all but about 1/2 a cup of water and stir fry it with the sauce for half a minute. The soup one is like a traditional broth ramen. I got the stir fry and love how it's thick and sticky. And the non Buldak ramen from Samyang have zero spice. As far as packaged ramen goes, this stuff is SO much better than Maruchan or Nissin. It's like 4-5x the price but totally worth it. $2 a bag isn't bad for something this good. The noodles are bigger, firmer and have a a wonderful chew. You cook them for 5 minutes, if you cooked Maruchan for 5 minutes you'd have a bowl of mush.

If that cheese one tastes like a spicy noodle based version of Kraft Mac & Cheese I'll probably end up buying all of it lol. You said it's fantastic so I'll go pick some up in a few days. The store also had a Habenaro Lime which sounds outstanding.

It's kind of a generic cheese flavor imo, and hard to pin down. It says mozzarella on the ingredients list, but I think it tastes more like cheddar.

Awesome, generic cheese sounds like a box of cheap mac and cheese to me. Yup I gotta try this. I just made the one I bought today and it has a solid kick of spice. Was pretty damn tasty and actually made my nose run a little from the heat and 5 minutes after I finished my lips and throat are still tingling. As far as calling it Carbonara, I didn't get that. But it was creamy and did have a cheese undertone. And the noodles are wide and thicker than the normal Samyung ones. If it didn't have so much sodium I'd go whip up a 2nd package. This is definitely the best ramen brand I've had.

And it's nice to find a product labeled spicy that's actually spicy, American companies could learn something here. A lot of Americans can eat Tabasco and not go "OMGWTFBBQSAUCE! hot" In my opinion, this would be bordering on too spicy for those people, I'd say the heat level was close to eating a milder raw Jalapeno. According to their ramen chart, this is the beginner spice level for their line. LOL Korean people can definitely tolerate some heat.
