Not really. I had no problem standing up to teachers who were in the wrong in high school. It wasn't 27 years ago, but it was long enough ago.

When I was in 5th grade the teacher handed out a bunch of papers. some were supposed to be completed at home and some in the class.

I did the wrong papers in class.

When the teacher saw what papers I did she took me down to the office and spanked me.

I have hated teaches since that day. When I am near or next to a teacher there is an inner rage that comes over me.

If he hurt/pissed you off and you want to vent, then send the e-mail. keep it somewhat civil. meaning no threats or the like.

Just don't do it just to look for closure or don't get your hopes up about closure. If you do, he'll probably hurt you more.

Again, I'd ask other outlets instead of here for advice on the subject. I think enough people have commented that if the topic you post means something to you sincerely....you probably shouldn't post it here for advice or share it at all.

My opinion? Send him a letter that is level-headed. Write your feelings out entirely; reread and share them with your family. If you feel you still need closure, send the letter. Aside from that, you can't fix whats happened but you can maybe volunteer someway to prevent this from happening. Maybe big brother programs or such?

When I think of anything done wrong to me as a kid, to me it's just overall more important that I try to make sure no kid goes through that same thing I did.
