This. Hell, I still feel hatred towards a jackass math teacher that wouldn't let me use a calculator in his Algebra class, making his homework assignments take an hour every night instead of 15 minutes. I could have spent those extra 100 or so hours doing something useful, but no.... I spent them wearing out a pencil instead. Oh, and I was right... EVERYONE uses a calculator for basic math now.

Amusingly, the guy was a coach like the OP's jerk teacher. He probably thought that math was best taught in hour long drills like soccer or something I would never bother e-mailing him about it, though. Odds are that the senile bastard doesn't even remember me by now.

Oh, and don't even get me started on the guy who gave me a failing grade on a 15 page History paper because he thoughts that the margins weren't right.... Asshole

What the fuck is closure? Just stop thinking about the guy. I think it's shit like this that accounts for the majority of the drama that people who aren't me seem to always have in their lives. They're all constantly looking for reasons to insert themselves back into the lives of other people who piss them off when they should be moving on with their own lives. This is just a way to fabricate an adversarial situation. If for some reason you feel like you need to start shit with people to be happy, I'd recommend seeing a therapist to help you deal with that. Otherwise you're just part of the reason the human race seems to be in a perpetual shit fit with itself.

OP, I know you're not much on religion, but let me give you a lesson I've learned.

In the Bible, it tells us to turn the other cheek. In other words, don't hold a grudge against a person for something they did. Most of the time, the only person who is negatively affected by the grudge is the person holding it. You really seem to have let this sit in your craw, and sour, over the past 27 years, and it seems to have had a pretty negative effect on your life.

To go along with this, I would say that while we're told to turn the other cheek, we're never told that we need to allow the other person to kick us in the nuts. Meaning, don't open yourself to being hurt again. Forgive the other person for their transgression, then move on, making certain they cannot hurt you again.

If you have any further contact with this teacher, try to make it a positive for you, without necessarily being a negative for him. Heck, walk up to him, tell him that you felt hurt by some of the things he said and did to you when he was your teacher, then tell him no hard feelings, and walk away. I think you'll feel better, in the long run.

Go to a local hospital and ask if you can get a 55 gal drum worth of aborted babies, placentas and other baby/birth related stuff. Heck, it all looks the same, any random bio waste should do. Go spread it all over his lawn. spray paint "This guy loves abortion" on his driveway using the blood of sheep. (if you use a live baby like a crayon you can get the same effect, you have to push pretty hard against the asphalt though)

Or you can... let it go. It's been 27 years, after all. Is that teacher even still alive?

I can look back and think of bullies or people I did not like in school, but I don't get any thoughts that I want closure. There is this one kid in grade 8 I regret not beating up, but if I was to run into him today, I would not want to beat him up, I'd probably say hi and move on. Maybe even go for a drink.
