Zwingle...
If God never allowed anything bad to happen, would people care about him even more than they do now? Think about it... when times are good and people have a buck in their pockets, they forget all about God. But when tragedy hits, its "oh... how could an all loving God let stuff like this happen".
He does love everyone and he hopes and wills they they come to know Him through Jesus. But if everythign was peachy keen all the time, why would anyone do any soul-searching? Would people ever stop and realize that there is more to this life than making money and going to work? I really don't think so. Events like this, though sad, tragic and unnecessary in our minds, can have profound reprocutions on a higher, spiritual plane. What you can see and touch isn't all that is out there.
So, the argument that "how can an all loving God...." generally needs some more background, research, and soul-searching to come to grips with. Assuming you have even the slightest glimmer in you mind that there may be a God, then think abou this: He creates life. And it is his choice to bring that life (spirit) back at his chosen time and place. It is not for us to decide. So... who knows (other than God), but maybe it was time for each and everyone of those people that were killed in this tragedy to meet his/her Maker??!! And this was the form it came in.
Well... that is about as well as i can write my thoughts at this time. Please seriously consider them. Please make this a civil discussion; not bashing others for their beliefs.
Thanks...
