I was wondering if anyone knows how to access the full contents of the system tray in VB (either .NET or 6.0). I'm running WinXP Pro.
The reason I'm doing this is because I'm developing a wireless PC monitor that allows me to view CPU usage, system temperatures, and network usage on a remote display. I'd also like to add "New Email" notification to the board, but I can't figure out how to tell my VB app that I've got new mail (using the Netscape Mail client v4.79). I know that a mail icon appears in the tray, but I can't figure out how to tell if the icon is there or not.
Thanks!
