It works quite well. I'm running at 4GHz right now (20x200) and processor temps are in the high 40's. It's a little more than I expected, but I realize I'm running low speed fans inside a very small case with a slim radiator. I've done some gaming and stuff, and it stays around the same temp pretty consistently. =)

Two things I'd do...paint or anodize the IO plate (black maybe?) and replace the silver thumbscrews on the back with low profile bolts. But that's just me, great job.

Your photo work is comparable to your build. I'd back that thing off for a mild overclock.

I updated the BIOS the other day to version 44.. it seemed to stabilize my overclock and lower the temperatures. Idle CPU temp is reading 38-42C and core temps are reading ~50C. Under extreme load and benchmarking, CPU temp goes up to 55-58C and core temps in the mid 70C range. It quickly cools back down though.

Here's a few benchmarks.. (ATI drivers are shitty..)

Stock everything:

CPU @ 4.0GHz
GPU @ 900MHz core / 1250MHz memory
(quite a ways off from my old quad-sli 295 setup which scored 35689, lol)

I'm not sure the tallest HSF that would fit. Just with a rough measurement, about 13cm tall from the processor until you bump into the power supply.

edit: Max height from people on various forums.. they're saying 125mm.. so 12.5cm.

What PSU did you use? I'm finding it difficult to wedge the ones I have in and need to get something else. Very nice looking build. You ever see this site:

Yeah, I'm hoping million dollar pc will put me up there. =)

The PSU I used is the Zalman ZM500-HP. It fits with plenty of room to plug in the connectors -- roughly 1.5 inches.

If you wanted to fit a large, 1000w+ PSU in the case, the best way would be to cut out part of the 5.25'' bay that is directly across from the PSU.
